Today, residents along the Carolina Coast are picking through what remains of their homes. Others continue to face the threat of flash floods as Hurricane Florence, now a tropical depression, continues to drop trillions of gallons of water in parts of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

With at least 32 dead and millions evacuated from their homes or without power, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper delivered this grim assessment over the weekend: “The floodwaters are still raging across parts of our state, and the risk to life is rising with the angry waters.”

Our hearts go out to Florence’s victims, but with your help, we can offer more than thoughts and prayers. Through the not-for-profit REALTORS® Relief Foundation, we can deliver housing assistance to those in need during the critical weeks and months to come. Simply, RRF helps people stay in their communities and helps communities stay strong.

When you donate to the RRF, every dollar goes directly to victims of disaster. The National Association of REALTORS® covers 100% of administrative expenses.

Over 17 years, the RRF has collected and distributed over $28 million in relief aid for more than 70 disasters in 37 states and territories. Please help us keep this important work going by making a tax-deductible donation to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation. You can do so in less than one minute using your credit card on our secure online form. Or you can send a check payable to RRF to REALTORS® Relief Foundation, 430 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611.
